As time goes by they say the sadness and sense of loss fades...
Well that's just dandy isn't? What the heck do you do in the meantime? I'm not exactly sure this is the first time that I have had to walk down this road. So while I am walking down this mysterious road to which no one can tell me when it will end or what it will look like futher down the road, here's what it looks like for me...

at times the tears flow

some moments I see a Father and daughter walking down the road and wish that it was me with my Father

other times I pop open a bottle of beer and reminise of the times we were able to share

sometimes I just am quiet...soletude, I suppose

and at other times a song hits my heart and I don't know why until I pay close attention
to the lyrics and realize that it makes me think of my Father
